This award is given to students who best demonstrate any or all of the Character Counts! traits of Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship.

Congratulations to Dallas Jacobs who participated in the Middle School All-State band on Saturday, March 16, 2013. Dallas won second chair after his audition and put on a fantastic concert.

On Friday, March 8, 2013, the Wolverines participated in the Pinal County Mock Trial Competition. The students won their case and Shayla Prince took home Best Closing Argument for the second year in a row and Rachel Jones took home the award for Best Witness.

At Coolidge Unified School District’s March 6th regular Governing Board meeting, Governing Board Student Character Awards were presented to students from San Tan Valley schools. This award is given to students who best demonstrate any or all of the Character Counts! traits of Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship.

At Coolidge Unified School District’s March 6th regular Governing Board meeting, former Governing Board member Thomas Bagnall was recognized for his dedication to the Coolidge Unified School District. Mr. Bagnall served on the Governing Board from 1991 through 1994 and again from 2009 through 2012.

At Coolidge Unified School District’s February 13th regular Governing Board meeting, Outstanding Service Awards were presented to employees from West Elementary School and Hohokam Middle School. Nellie Barboza, an Autism Teacher at West Elementary was not present, but was recognized for her outstanding work with students.
